Should He be Removed From Office?

Who is this guy, anyway?
The "i" word is near vulgarity in a responsible legislature. No responsible legislator is apt to utter the word without extreme just cause. It's prudent to keep faith in the systems of checks and balances, outlined in our Constitutions, to keep potential tyrants at bay.

However, the word was uttered in our legislature, a couple of weeks ago, for the first time in our 54 years since statehood. Civil Beat was reassured that it had "nothing to do with Abercrombie" by State Senator Les Ihara--the peoples champion--who noticed that the Constitutional responsibilities of the legislature to set standards of impeachment had never been addressed; so introduced SB229 to get the ball rolling.

Governor Abercrombie has introduced (or supported) a number of measures into our state that undermine the democratic systems that our government was founded on. The Public Lands Development Corporation (PLDC), His Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPA), Harbors and Parks Development Authority, and a handful of early-learning bills...[they keep coming] ...that, if passed into law, would alter the fabric of our government beyond recognition to what we have known in the past.

That's why we have the built-in checks and balances--just in case a Governor looses his mind while in office. But that's not the case here. All this stuff was premeditated; and while never clarified in his campaign for "A New Day in Hawaii." was the Governor's plan all along. Of course, if he had clarified these "New Day" details, he would have never been elected.

But hey!....that's politics. No justification for impeachment here. Politicians forget campaign promises all the time, once they're in office.

Except it goes further. All these wild ideas did not blossom in the mind of a Governor intoxicated by power. They can all be traced to
here, here and here...and even, in a round-about way, to here...or in short, to the United Nations plan to save the Earth from humanity in the 21st century.

The United Nations is a foreign power--in fact, it is all foreign powers in one thick soup. And when one who is invested with administrative powers, such as Neil Abercrombie, attempts to supplant the Constitutional systems of the sovereign state to which he was elected--in this case, Hawaii--with the un-democratic doctrines of a foreign power, it can be safely defined as: "Treason".

When we look at
SB229, which establishes the criteria for impeachment of Governor and Lieutenant Governor, we see, at the top of the list: "Treason". So, he qualifies.

But will the House recognize treason, when they see it....

To be continued...but not here.

Aloha...and good luck

Early Learning--"Programs that iniially target 4-year olds"

The following testimony, regarding Governor Abercrombie's Early Learning initiatives, was submitted (late--2/27/2013) to Committees on Education and Judiciary of the Hawaii State House of Representatives. It is reprinted here (in blog form) for the public record. --R. Morse
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
.I ask that all Members of House to take caution with Governor Abercrombie's early-learning (EL) initiatives.*. [See Civil Beat article: Hawaii Preschools Initiative Passes First Test.**]

1. The combination of the governor's EL bills* [See HB 853] potentially establish a comprehensive, state-controlled mechanism for influencing the world-view and behavior of entire generations of [Hawaii's] children--in both private and public schools--when they are at their most impressionable age. If I am reading this right, this state-wide "program that initially targets 4-year-olds," would be exclusively controlled by the executive office; and through public-private partnerships, without much oversight.**
In the event of a potential rouge government this mechanism could be very dangerous.

Please consider the possibility that the provision in ARTICLE X, Section 1: "...nor shall public funds be appropriated for the support or benefit of any...private educational institution." is a preventative measure, purposely written into our State Constitution, for the purpose of separating public and private sectors in the area of education, specifically to safeguard children, and society, from such a program being implemented.

2. It may be coincidence, though I see striking similarities between the rhetoric (language and logic) in the Governor's early-learning dialog and the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) dialog on 21st century education. For a small example:

Rethinking Education UNESCO’s function as an international laboratory of ideas is to guide the global debate on education. As the rapid and interdependent changes of the 21st century present new challenges for education and training systems worldwide, educational policy-makers need to be more pro-active in identifying and understanding the implications of emerging trends for the future of education. Evidence-based policy dialogue and forward-looking research are essential to strengthening collective capacity to grapple with broader societal issues in a changing global environment. As the international community strengthens its collective efforts to reach internationally-agreed upon education and development goals, it is also crucial to look ahead and chart new paradigms to help guide the global education agenda beyond 2015. The Education Research and Foresight (ERF) team has been established in order to respond to this need, working to support research and analysis across UNESCO’s Education Sector. http://www.unesco.org/new/en/education/themes/leading-the-international-agenda/rethinking-education/

* Related Early Learning bills in Gov. Abercrombie's 2013 package: Hb853 HB864 HB862

** To summarize: The Governor's package to the Legislature includes a handful of bills relating to Early Learning and School Preparedness. Three of those are interdependent.* Between them, they ask for an Amendment in the State Constitution which would allow public funds for private preschools and day-care centers. They also ask for non-profit, private contractors to bring programs into public schools. through PPPs. And money for all. (btw,This all while cutting back funds for public school teachers.)

Compass: No Public Funds for Private Education
By VIC FISCHER
A concerted effort is under way to change Alaska's constitution to open the way to spend public funds to educate students in religious and other private schools.

Are Public-Private Partnerships Right for Hawaii?

I'm wondering if it is a good time to introduce legislation that would prohibit 'public-private partnerships' (PPPs) in Hawaii all together. (Or at the very least, not without consent of the public; since the public is one of the named partners) These so called "partnerships" are the crux of the problem with the PLDC and like agencies.

I'm sure that legislation of this nature would receive wide-spread public support. Though it would likely meet considerable resistance from some legislators; and from the Administration. But, even if it failed to pass, it would show what needs to be done.

PPPs are misnomered. They imply that the Public has gone into Partnership with some Private entity. Though that is not the case since "the Public" has not consented to the partnership, and has not signed a contract with any private partner. The reality is that the Government has signed on to that partnership. To be accurate and true, PPPs should be called "Corporate-Government Partnerships." But that sounds too much like a new kind of government. Public-Private sounds chummier...but, it's a lie.
"Public-private partnerships" are relatively new to the political landscape in the U.S. They originate from some international philosophy, and not from our constitutions which generally aim to separate public and private sectors...to help assure stable government and economy.

PPPs were initially instituted to help finance impoverished nations develop their infrastructures and economies. The financier, in exchange, gains access to that nations resources. So its a win-win deal...all the way around...in theory. Except, there is always the real possibility that the Public (partner) becomes dependent on the more-powerful Private Partner, as it exploits the nation's natural resources and people.

Hawaii, however, is far from an impoverished nation. One look around will tell you that we are relatively prosperous. So PPPs are not only unnecessary but could be very destructive for Hawaii..

This video--Agenda 21 ALERT--Public-Private Partnerships--is from a woman, Joan Veon, who is familiar with internationalism. She is clearly passionate in opposing these "partnerships". There is very-little else on line expressing her view, so I found this enlightening...if not frightening. I hope you have time to view it...at least the first half of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsLD7W-l_FM

Or, maybe this women is just crazy. Your call.

The Link between the PLDC and the United Nations--Agenda 21

Aloha Kakou,

I have reason to believe that this land-grab stuff is not going to go away any time soon; even if Act 55 is repealed. Here's why:

In 2007 there was an attempt to establish a powerful land-controlling council just like this PLDC, that would have made all land-use decisions in Hawaii. It was embedded in the Hawaii 2050 Sustainability Plan; and was called the Sustainability Council . It would have acted under the auspice of administering sustainable development in Hawaii. Like the PLDC, it would have been appointed by the Governor...not elected. It would be accountable  to no one..

Having studied the plan, I realized it was frightfully corrupt and could best be described as a coup d'etat, if the legislature were to pass it into law. Later, when I learned about Agenda 21, I realized that is exactly what it was--a coup. The Plan itself was a farce. Simply: There was no plan....other than establishing the so called 'sustainability council.' The Plan never mentioned that it was a product of The United Nations Agenda 21. Back then it was all kind of strange. Today it makes perfect sense.
The effort to push this "sustainability plan" into law was spearheaded by then-Senator Russel Kokubun.

The 2007 legislature determined that the HI 2050 Plan needed further study, and tasked the College of Social Science and Public Policy, at the U.H. to the job. After two years a revised Plan was resubmitted to the legislature; and in this version, the powerful Sustainability Council had been removed. . (Please see here for more.). In the end, the HI 2050 Sustainability Plan was passed into law by the 2010 Legislature, without the SustainabilityCouncil.

Except, without the Council, the Plan had no teeth. So my guess is that this PLDC is a second attempt to give "The Plan'" teeth.
These people putting this crazy stuff together are determined, which is why I think they will be back for another stab at it.

The question is: "Who's they?"

While I dont have the answer to 'who', the whole thing begins to make sense when you connect the dots to Agenda 21--the United Nations comprehensive plan for Earth in the 21st century.

Agenda 21, in conjunction with a related ' Wildlands Project'*, is resulting in wild land-grabs all across the United States; just like we see, being attempted, here in Hawaii. This is made possible by our federal government, who are cooperating with the U.N. to implement this agenda...nation wide. I know. It's unbelievable...but it's true.
For a primer (or I should say "a jolt") check out this video: Agenda 21 for Dummies. There's a lot more on line to explore. Some of it is pretty scary.

Below: For a more-rational presentation, that explains how Agenda 21 gets from the United Nations to us, this lecture is very good:.
To be fair, here's a document: Agenda 21, Just the Facts that dispells the 'myths'of these videos. (You make the call.)

So, we are not alone. This thing is national,; if not global. And I think we're not done yet:

Did you see the part in the videos that talked about child education (or indoctrination)  ...and kidnapping a generation? Well, Governor Abercrombie introduced a package of bills, this 2013 session, related to "early learning" that makes me nervous.. Some of those are SB1084, SB1093, SB1095. (More on this topic later.) If I'm wrong about this, and his intentions are good, then OK...I'm sorry. But after his enthusiastic support of ACT 55, I'm not sure he deserves the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it's a false alarm; but we are talking about our keki ha'nau o ka aina here, so....

THE GOOD NEWS is that many communities across the U.S. are fighting the U.N. agenda and winning. There is a unified movement under foot, to remove U.N. policy from local governments. Some state legislatures are banning Agenda 21 from their states.
Maybe we should do that here.

Thanks for checking out this post.. I just though, with the big picture, of what's going on nationally and globally, we all would be better equipped to deal with what's going on in Hawaii nei.

That's it......mahalo

If you want to see real people being affected by the Agenda 21, here's a video of residents of Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina who have lost access to their local beaches. From the looks of it, they are unaware of Agenda 21, at the time this was shot:
